The Jesus and Mary Chain will perform at Pohoda 2017. While Slowdive are the legend of the shoegaze genre, The Jesus and Mary Chain are its predecessors. Noisey described them as the hottest band in history, and they are super cool according to Pitchfork, too. Last month they released their first album in nineteen years, and in an interview for Fullmoon, they suggested that fans can look forward to a large portion of their most popular hits, too, during their current tour. → read more

London Elektricity will perform at Pohoda 2017 twice: as Big Band and as a DJ set. This project of Tony Colman, the pioneer of the Drum & Bass genre and a co-founder and chief of Hospital Records, is also referred to as fast soul music, thanks to the spectacular delivery by the 22-member big band that included names such as MC Dynamite (Reprazent) and the winner of the BBC Jazz Awards Lianne Carrol, which brings D&B to a whole new level. The second concert of London Elektricity, the DJ set, will be one of three Tonyʼs appearances in this form in 2017. → read more

The new Partnership Director of the Pohoda festival is Katka Hittrichová. Katka's previous position was the specialist of internal communications at Orange and she had also worked in the same position with our other partner PSA Peugeot Citroën. Before Katka boarded our team, festival partnerships were for 4 years and a half taken care of by Veronika Gulášová. Besides perfectly performed work and beautiful memories, Veronika left us with a list of “Gulášová's rules” (a theory of sustainable development of our office). → read more
