Dakha Brakha, Shame, Black Pumas and Mezerg will not to perform at Pohoda 2022

We are happy to be back together at the airport. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are already here, and yesterday we listened to the soundtrack of the Nemoderný chalan (Unfashionable Guy) project. However, we also have some unfortunate news that we're not happy about. Due to health reasons, the bands Dakha Brakha, Shame, and Black Pumas will not be able to perform, and due to logistics problems and loss of "customized gear" Mezerg will not take the stage either. Due to the impossibility to meet the complicated bureaucratic conditions, the National Orchestra of Afghanistan will not be able to play its concert. At the same time, we would like to inform you that for logistical reasons we have switched the slots of the Wolf Alice and Slobodná Európa concerts. → read more

We are adding 400 new parking spaces for sale

We are adding 400 new parking spaces for sale

We are adding 100 parking spaces to the first four sectors of the car park, so there will be overall 400 new spaces. We've also expanded the capacity of the P0 car park for disabled people, families with kids, and pregnant women. Please do not misuse this parking lot and leave the P0 system available exclusively for wheelchair users, disabled people, pregnant women, and those who will be with children at the festival the entire time. Our generous system cannot work without mutual respect. Thank you. → read more

Dance workshops at Pohoda 2022

Dance workshops at Pohoda 2022

Interactivity, movement, and fun in various forms are part and parcel of our festival. As per tradition, they have their special place under the roof of the Nay Dance House. The husband and wife Fero and Barbora Morong, who have been running the Dance House for many years, have been organizing them continuously in Slovakia for the last 20 years. This year, it will open its doors to visitors on Thursday. Its space will belong to a special and relaxed musical production to celebrate 25 years of Pohoda. The Friday and Saturday dramaturgy is traditionally divided into day and night parts: the day one focuses on interactive dance workshops with a selection of the best from traditional as well as contemporary dance culture. → read more
