Changes in Pohoda 2019 line-up

Changes in Pohoda 2019 line-up

Sofi Tukker show cancellation has brought some changes to Pohoda 2019 line-up. Their planned spot will be taken by Donny Benét and his band. This caused some additional moves, namely, of the artists Akua Naru, Raptor Koch and Emmanuel Jal & Nyaruach as well as of the debate “Café Europe: Gentle Velvet?” We also wanted to comply with the wish of our two biggest stars in Saturday’s program and swapped their slots. Liam Gallagher will play at 8:30 PM already and Charlotte Gainsbourg will be closing the program on the main stage. All the updates are available for you to see in the Line-up and Timeline sections on our website. → read more

Pohoda f(lovers) 2019 – let’s create a garden in the centre of the festival

Pohoda f(lovers) 2019 – let’s create a garden in the centre of the festival

We used to plant sunflowers and other flowers in the heart of our festival since 2010, the original idea was a big bouquet aimed to heaven after the tragedy in 2009. Later, the sunflower became one of the symbols of Pohoda. Due to tightened rules of the airport operation, we have been unable to plant the flower meadow since last year. Therefore, we invite everyone to bring their own flowers in a flowerpot and, when leaving the airport, to take whichever flower they like. Several tens of flowers were brought to the site last years and we cannot wait to see the beauties you’ll bring this time. → read more

Poetry café at Pohoda 2019

Poetry café at Pohoda 2019

For the fifth year, Julius Meinl will bring the best of their coffee and Viennese café culture to the unique Poetry Café at Pohoda. The bar will offer a darker roasted blend Vienna XVI with hazelnut aftertaste and a fruity refreshing taste in the form of light roasted Fruity Red Door. There will also be a refreshing Cold Brew lemonade and Ice Tea Tea on the Rocks offered. We would like to invite you to the café on Friday and Saturday between 10:00 am – 11:00 am when you’ll be able to take part in Poetry Hour – paying for your coffee with an inspirational poem of yours. If you dream about a poem just for you, the street poet Šimpe Ondruš will write one for you right at the spot. → read more
