Zrní & Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra in Ostrava

Zrní & Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra in Ostrava

The captivating music of the band Zrní stems from the improvisation of musicians who enjoy constant exploration of new possibilities. Five lovers of folk music born in this electronic age (slowly but surely) made it from the streets of Kladno and Prague among the elite of Czech music. In their music, however, there is no sign of elitism, just constant curiosity and joy of playing. After their excellent concert at Pohoda in 2013, they are coming to the 20th edition of our festival with a musical company of 40 members of the Janáček Philharmonic.   → read more

Dear children and dear parents. Do you miss pogoing together? Do you want to see various groups from all over the world and magician...? Once upon a time, under the castle of Matúš Čák, between Váh and Inovec, a funny magician will use magic to create animals out of balloons; Songs about characters will be sung by the one who wrote them. Fairy tales will be read by real actors; Teachers will teach children using toys; Children will produce musical instruments and play them as a famous band; there will be children in orchestras, choirs, and ensembles; all day around just games and clever toys playing during the biggest summer camping and comfort throughout the day, at the beginning of the holiday. And the best behaving one will be able to go to see Prodigy at night, or at least they will sing him a nice lullaby in the tent. ;) → read more

Midi Lidi

Midi Lidi

Midi Lidi are slowly but surely becoming a traditional Pohoda band. It is due to the exceptional dance expression of Petr Marek and the fact that he “likes to cook”. The female colleagues from the agency present the same ultimatum each year: they would not depart for the airport without Midi Lidi. They and the rest of the agency value the detachment in the work of this five-member trio and the abundant curls of Prokop Holoubek. Agency people aimed to extend Tomino Kelarʼs stay at Pohoda so they unambiguously asked him to hold the post of stage manager of the Visegrad stage. We will also examine the veracity of their lyrics at the festival – we strongly believe that Koller will not be slayed by cholera and Prodigy “will come with their parents”.  → read more

Longital Suita

Longital Suita

Longital Suita, the project of the band Longital with string quartet arrangements of Slavo Solovic, had a huge success at the sold-out premiere of the festival Convergences. The same was true also at their next appearance at the event for homeless people Doma Dobre. Dano Salontay said: “The concert of the project at Pohoda, that will be celebrating its birthday, will be the culmination of fifteen-year work of our band that has released nine albums and played at a thousand concerts in twelve European countries, USA, and Canada”. → read more
