Hiroko Yamamura to open the afterparty following The Cure at Pohoda 2026
The afterparty following the historic first-ever Slovak concert by The Cure will keep the energy flowing deep into the night. Opening The Cure Extra Day afterparty on Wednesday, July 8th 2026, will be Chicago techno DJ and producer Hiroko Yamamura.

Hiroko Yamamura is one of the most respected names in today’s techno scene. Her sound blends acid, industrial techno, electro and Chicago house into hypnotic, high-energy sets that have earned support from artists such as Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Sara Landry and Seth Troxler.
She has performed at world-renowned venues and festivals including Boiler Room, Fuji Rock Festival, Movement Detroit Panorama Bar, and Space Miami. Her sets are known for their precision, relentless momentum and immersive atmosphere.
Hiroko will open the “Extra Day” afterparty at Pohoda 2026, featuring performances by The Cure, The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard, and Denis Bango. For Wednesday’s “The Cure Extra Day,” not only are single-day tickets available, but also 4-day tickets, which are now in limited supply following an increase in capacity. Once the 4-day tickets are sold out, only single-day tickets will be available.
On Wednesday, the entire festival grounds will be open, including food vendors and bars. For Wednesday, you can also purchase parking valid for one night only. With a one-day ticket, you can camp at both free festival visitor campsites, Biskupice and Opatovce.
For Wednesday’s The Cure Extra Day, we’re also organizing special buses from Slovakia and the Czech Republic that will take you directly to the festival grounds and back after the concert that night. Ticket sales for these special buses will begin soon.
Pohoda 2026 will feature performances by The Cure, Gorillaz, The Prodigy, Lykke Li, Denzel Curry, IDLES, Oliver Tree, Apashe & Brass Orchestra, Action Bronson, Emilíana Torrini, Baxter Dury, and many more.
The festival is already sold out; only a limited number of 4-day passes remain.

Pohoda Festival will take place on July 8 & July 9–11, 2026, at Trenčín Airport.
