We are introducing personal and large-capacity ashtrays for smokers (table receptacles and concrete bowls filled with sand) this year. Special personal ashtrays can be found at the separation points and in the Pohoda shop. Smoking is forbidden at Pohoda in the tents, the entire Family Park, and the grandstands. Smoking in other parts of the grounds is allowed, but please be considerate of other people (especially during concerts on the main stages). We are asking smokers not to drop cigarette ends, as each of them must be picked up by someone at the end of the festival. → read more

Not sure if you had too much to drink during the festival? We definitely recommend to make use of this service. The capacity at Pohoda Festival might be the same, but we make sure visitors’ comfort is greater each year. This year, we are going to increase the number of flush toilets considerably. The runway opposite Slovenská sporiteľňa Arena will be equipped with 39 vacuum toilets JohnPrivy, similar to those you know from planes or trains. Apart from the comfort factor, there also is eco-friendly side to them as water usage is lower. The set will also feature washbasins and mirrors. On top of barrier-free toilets, a barrier-free shower is going to be located opposite Urpiner Stage. The members of the Slet bubeníků (Gathering of Drummers) are coming from different parts of the world to the airport of Trenčín. On Saturday at 5 AM, they will welcome the sunrise by drumming, dancing rhythms, grooves, and joy of music and life. All this will take place in a unique Czech-Slovak formation completed by the Israeli singer and drummer Kamila Kama. Besides Kamila, the stage will have Pavel Fajt, Martin Valihora, Pavel Koudelka, Ephraim Goldin, Martin Kukučka, cimbalomist Petr Gablas, and keyboardist Lukáš Duchoň. → read more
The band led by Juraj Podmanický, organizer of the allied festival Grape, are planning to launch their new album at Pohoda. Juraj, as a former member of the folklore ensemble Dovinka, invited girls from SĽUK to collab with the band and the untraditional combination works just great. The sold-out shows and positive feedback speak for themselves: “I can’t imagine Pohoda without Billy Barman. If you want good food at the fest, having Barmans play is a must. Otherwise, I quit,” says the head of band’s fan club in Pohoda team, catering-queen, Ľubica Ščambová. The food will be delicious, because Billy Barman decorated with SĽUK will, of course, be playing Pohoda. Enjoy your meal. → read more
The 22nd Pohoda will also see one of the most talented contemporary Slovak electronic music producers, Jimmy Pé. He received a Radio_Head Award for his EP Fake Fantasy. Currently, he is doing very well abroad as well, where his music is played by the likes of Baauer, Daedelus or DJ Craze. Towards the end of last year, he played his latest EP WuShu in China and, in spring, he brought it to the US (where he also performed at Low End Theory, Los Angeles). We’re glad he’s coming to introduce us to the EP at Trenčín airfield in ten days. → read more

Other reputable media mentioned the uncompromising line-up, top-notch services, great organization and atmosphere. Our partners have a great merit in this success, which is also demostrated by the nomination of ZSE in the Brand Activation Award category. Every year, our partners come to the airport with what they do best and, in cooperation with Pohoda, they bring the festival experience to a higher level. Also this year, they have prepared a huge amount of activities and services to make our visitors pampered. Above all the efforts of our partners this year there is responsibility towards the environment.
