These days at FRESHMENʼS Gallery, you can see works of art that arose over the past 10 years in the creative zone of Bažant Pohoda. Together with the studio IN, we will look for answers to these questions also at Bažant Pohoda, and we will use INʼs Office of Contemporary Art. For the first time ever, KNÍHKAVIAREŇ (Book-coffee-shop) with cofee-shop Foxford: this is what the many-year partner, Martinus.sk, will look like at the festival. It will offer readings of Slovak authors performed by popular actors (Čau o piatej), the presentation of the best Czech book of the last year, Dějiny světla (The History of Light), by its author, and, of course, the favourite modern formats liteRAPtúra and Slam Poetry that were dicovered for Czechoslovania by Zogatka. In collaboration with the Open Society Fund, we are bringing one of the most interesting installations of the festival Burning Man to our festival — a chain of balloons. The simple concept is brought into an impressive appearance as helium inflated balloons held on a 500 m silicone rope form various arches and shapes. → read more
