What is THE CURE Extra Day?

THE CURE Extra Day is a special concert day celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pohoda Festival, taking place on Wednesday, 8th July 2026. It will be a standalone programme day with a concert by The Cure, additional band performances (to be announced soon), and an afterparty. In the following text, we will answer all the questions you might be interested in.

What types of tickets will be available for THE CURE Extra Day?

UPGRADE (adding the Extra Day) – an addition to an already purchased 3-day Pohoda 2026 ticket. Available for ADULT, JUNIOR, and KIDS categories. BABY tickets automatically include entry to the Extra Day.
SEPARATE TICKET for THE CURE Extra Day, valid only on Wednesday, 8th July – available for ADULT, JUNIOR, and KIDS categories. Children under 5 years old (inclusive) have free admission.
4-DAY TICKET – a ticket for the entire festival, including THE CURE Extra Day, available in all age categories.

Standard 3-day tickets for Pohoda 2026 (9th – 11th July 2026) remain on sale.

You can find all the options in our online shop. Ticket prices will increase gradually.

Will the upgrade ticket (adding to an already purchased 3-day ticket) be cheaper than a separate ticket for THE CURE Extra Day?

Yes. The upgrade for an already purchased 3-day ticket for Pohoda 2026 is more cost-effective than purchasing a separate ticket for THE CURE Extra Day.

I’ve already bought a 3-day ticket for Pohoda 2026. How do I add the Extra Day with The Cure?

If you already have a 3-day ticket for Pohoda 2026 and wish to add THE CURE Extra Day, simply purchase THE CURE Day Upgrade in our online shop. It’s available for all age categories except BABY tickets, which automatically cover the extra day.

When purchasing the upgrade, you will need to enter the 10-digit EAN code from your physical ticket or e-ticket.

Will I receive a new ticket with the upgrade (addition to my already purchased 3-day ticket)?

No. When you purchase the upgrade, you’ll receive a payment receipt, but you won’t get a new ticket. Your 3-day ticket will automatically be upgraded to a 4-day ticket, which you’ll use for entry to the festival.

Can I give or sell the upgrade for my 3-day ticket to someone else?

No. The upgrade is tied to the specific ticket. If you’re unable to attend the extra day, you can give or sell the entire 4-day ticket.

Will the capacity for THE CURE Extra Day be limited?

Yes. Just like the whole Pohoda Festival, THE CURE Extra Day will have a limited capacity of 30,000 attendees.

Tickets will be sold until the capacity is reached.

I won a free ticket to the 3-day Pohoda Festival. Does it also apply to THE CURE Extra Day?

No. If you won a free ticket for the 3 days, it is valid from Thursday, 9th July 2026. To attend THE CURE Extra Day, you’ll need to purchase a separate ticket for that day.

Can I upgrade my free ticket to the 4-day Pohoda Festival?

No. Upgrading a free ticket (valid for 9th–11th July) is not possible. To attend THE CURE Extra Day, you’ll need to buy a separate ticket.

If you have a separate ticket for THE CURE Extra Day and a separate 3-day ticket for Pohoda, you’ll need to “re-check-in” on Thursday morning – go through the festival entrance again, show your Pohoda ticket, and receive your festival wristband.

Will printed tickets for the Extra Day and printed 4-day tickets be available for purchase?

Yes. Printed tickets for THE CURE Extra Day and printed 4-day tickets will be available for purchase starting in November.

Since ticket prices will gradually increase, we recommend purchasing your e-ticket now.

Tickets for the Extra Day will be sold until capacity is reached.

I am disabled (PWD / PWD-C) and already have a 3-day Pohoda 2026 ticket. How do I add the Extra Day with The Cure?

Just like with other types of tickets. If you already have a PWD or PWD-C 3-day ticket for Pohoda 2026 and wish to add THE CURE Extra Day, simply purchase THE CURE Day Upgrade from our online shop.

When upgrading, enter the numeric EAN code from your e-ticket.

The price of the upgrade and separate tickets for PWD and PWD-C categories will not increase until the festival.

Will ticket prices for THE CURE Extra Day increase?

Yes, ticket prices will gradually increase as indicated in the ticket descriptions in our online shop. Sales will continue until capacity is reached.

We’re going to Pohoda with our children. Do we need to buy tickets for them for THE CURE Extra Day if we want to attend on Wednesday?

It depends on the children’s ages:

Children under 5 years old (inclusive) can attend THE CURE Extra Day for free.
For older children, you will need to purchase an upgrade based on their age category – details are available in our online shop.

We only want to attend THE CURE Extra Day, including with our children. Do they get in for free?

The same rule applies – children under 5 years old (inclusive) have a free admission, while older children will need to have a ticket based on their age.

I have the Pohoda Forever ticket. Does it include entry to THE CURE Extra Day?

No. If you have the Pohoda Forever ticket and want to attend THE CURE Extra Day, you will need to purchase an upgrade. When buying the upgrade, you will need to enter the code for your Pohoda Forever ticket.

Pohoda Forever ticket holders get discounted entry to THE CURE Extra Day: €69 until 17th November 2025 (inclusive), €79 after this date or until sold out.

How will I prove my entry if I’ve bought a separate ticket for Pohoda 2026 and THE CURE Extra Day?

If you have a separate ticket for THE CURE Extra Day and a separate ticket for Pohoda, you will need to “re-check-in” on Thursday morning – go through the festival entrance again, show your Pohoda ticket, and receive a new festival wristband.

TENT CAMPS AND CAMPSITES

Will all campsites be accessible from Wednesday?

Yes. The exact opening time for parking lots and tent camps will be announced closer to the festival.

I’m only going to THE CURE Extra Day. Can I camp or use other accommodation options?

Yes, camping with your own tent will be available in both campsites (Biskupice and Opatovce).

If you only have entry to THE CURE Extra Day, you will need to leave the campsite by Thursday morning at the latest. We will inform you of the exact time in advance.

Special accommodation options (Family Camp, Comfort Camp, Glamping, Huts, etc.) will only be available for festival-goers attending the entire festival.

I have a spot in the Family Camp / Comfort Camp for Pohoda 2026 and ticket for THE CURE Extra Day. Can I camp from Wednesday?

Yes. Simply purchase an upgrade for your existing ticket. Sales for these upgrades will begin next week.

For all already purchased tickets for the Family Camp and Comfort Camp, we guarantee the option to add an upgrade for Wednesday.

Separate accommodation only for Wednesday – THE CURE Extra Day won’t be available.

I have bought a spot in the Caravan Parking and a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day, can I park my caravan on Wednesday?

Yes. If you have a spot in any sector (Caravan Parking, Rooftop Tent Parking, Parking XL, Moto Parking, or regular Parking), you will need to purchase an upgrade for it in our online shop. We will launch the sale of the upgrade at Caravan Parking next week.

For all already purchased tickets for Caravan Parking, we guarantee the option to add an upgrade for Wednesday.

TRANSPORT AND PARKING

I’ve purchased parking for Pohoda. Does it also apply for Wednesday?

No. If you have a spot in any sector (Parking, Caravan, Rooftop Tent, XL, Moto), you will need to purchase an upgrade in our online shop.

We will launch the sale of the upgrade in Caravan Parking next week.

I’m only going to THE CURE Extra Day. How will parking work?

The regular parking for cars will also be open for visitors attending only THE CURE Extra Day, until capacity is reached.

If you plan to stay for the entire festival, we recommend purchasing a 4-day parking pass or adding an upgrade.

I plan to go only to THE CURE Extra Day. Will shuttle buses be available?

Yes, shuttle buses will operate similarly to how they normally do during the festival. More information on times and other transport options will be provided soon.

ENTRY AND FESTIVAL AREA

I have a ticket only for THE CURE Extra Day. Will I be able to leave the festival area during the concert and return?

Yes. Visitors of THE CURE Extra Day will receive a wristband with a QR code at the entrance, allowing them to freely re-enter the festival area throughout the day.

What services and zones will be available in the festival area on Wednesday?

Food stalls, drink zones, hygiene facilities, and a cloakroom will be available. We will inform you about partner zones and additional services in due time.

Will I need to leave the festival area after the concert by The Cure?

Yes. After the Wednesday programme ends, all visitors will need to leave the central area of the festival.

If you only have a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day, you will need to leave the festival area, including the campsites and parking, by Thursday morning at the latest. We will confirm the exact time in advance.

If you have a separate ticket for THE CURE Extra Day and a separate ticket for Pohoda, you will need to "re-check-in" on Thursday morning – re-enter the festival gate, show your Pohoda ticket, and receive a new festival wristband.

When will I need to leave the tent camp if I'm only attending THE CURE Extra Day?

By Thursday morning at the latest. We will confirm the exact time before the festival.

When will the festival area open on Wednesday? When will the parking open? When will the programme start?

We will confirm the exact times for when parking, the tent camps, and the festival area will open on Wednesday in due time.

The lineup will be released gradually – besides The Cure, the first festival day will feature other concerts and an afterparty.
