The afterparty following the historic first-ever Slovak concert by The Cure will keep the energy flowing deep into the night. Opening The Cure Extra Day afterparty on Wednesday, July 8th 2026, will be Chicago techno DJ and producer Hiroko Yamamura.
Hiroko Yamamura is one of the most respected names in today’s techno scene. Her sound blends acid, industrial techno, electro and Chicago house into hypnotic, high-energy sets that have earned support from artists such as Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Sara Landry and Seth Troxler.
She has performed at world-renowned venues and festivals including Boiler Room, Fuji Rock Festival, Movement Detroit Panorama Bar, and Space Miami. Her sets are known for their precision, relentless momentum and immersive atmosphere.
Hiroko will open the “Extra Day” afterparty at Pohoda 2026, featuring performances by The Cure, The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard, and Denis Bango.
