Step into the Land of CURIOSITY: SAV Brings Its Largest-Ever Festival Exposition Full of Science and Experiments to Pohoda
At Pohoda, we love combining entertainment with deeper knowledge, which is why we are premiering a special collaboration with the Slovak Academy of Sciences at the airfield this year. The country's largest research institution has prepared an interactive hub called "Krajina zVEDAvosti SAV" (Land of CURIOSITY), showcasing 19 different scientific institutes over three days. It is well worth visiting every day, as you will meet a fresh lineup of research teams and discover a new discussion program each time.

Right on-site, you will be able to try out various experiments, measurements, and tests, watch live demonstrations, or join in on interactive games. You can look forward to debating with scientists from diverse fields—ranging from biomedicine, physics, and archaeology to ecology and psychology. Together, you will explore current topics affecting our daily lives, such as climate change, the impact of disinformation, or the latest health research.
The lineup also features the popular Science Slam format and live recordings of their Science Podcast right in front of the audience. Stop by, satisfy your curiosity, and experience science in its most engaging and accessible form!
Pohoda 2026 will feature performances by The Cure, Gorillaz, The Prodigy, Lykke Li, Denzel Curry, IDLES, Oliver Tree, Apashe & Brass Orchestra, Action Bronson, Emilíana Torrini, Baxter Dury, and many more.
