Lykke Li as the Friday night headliner of Pohoda 2026

Swedish singer Lykke Li, one of the most striking voices in today’s indie-pop scene, will finally perform for Slovak audiences. We’re thrilled to announce that she will make her long-awaited Pohoda debut. On Friday, fans can look forward to iconic hits such as I Follow Rivers, Little Bit, and No Rest for the Wicked, as well as brand-new songs she plans to release next year.

12. December 2025

Internationally acclaimed Lykke Li creates connection with the depth of emotion in her lyrics and her consistency has made her an iconic staple in music.

Over the course of more than a decade, she has released a series of critically acclaimed albums — Youth Novels (2008), Wounded Rhymes (2011), I Never Learn (2014), and So Sad So Sexy (2018). These records have produced numerous culturally defining tracks, including the timeless hits “I Follow Rivers”, “Possibility”, “Sex Money Feelings Die” and many more.

Having created her own lane when it comes to genre and songwriting, she last released her most intimate project to date, the immersive audiovisual album EYEYE in May 2022.

In addition to her own output, she has consistently collaborated with a who's who of artists, musicians, and directors in the studio and on the the big screen including David Lynch, Terrence Malick, Mark Ronson, and Drake. A constant creative force that's lead culture and inspired countless others throughout her career, 2026 will give way to new music and marquee festival performances across the world.

“I still remember the moment in July 2019 when Lykke Li was supposed to perform at Pohoda. Part of her team has already arrived at the airport, but Lykke ultimately couldn’t perform because her flight was cancelled. It was disheartening to see so much disappointment and tears in the eyes of fans who had been eagerly looking forward to her concert. A year later, the pandemic prevented her show once again. But as they say, third time’s the charm — and we’re happy that we can finally welcome Lykke Li to Slovakia, and at the 30th edition of Pohoda no less. Lykke Li is a perfect example of what modern alternative pop should sound like. And I already can’t wait for Friday night at Pohoda, where she’ll be headlining, and we’ll sing together: ‘I, I follow, I follow you, deep sea, baby, I follow you,’” adds Pohoda Festival PR & Media Director Lukáš Grešš.

This week we announced several prominent female artists who have enriched our lineup. At Pohoda, we will welcome New Zealand singer-songwriter Aldous Harding, Icelandic singer Emilíana Torrini, as well as cellist and composer Hildur Guðnadóttir
