Pupišta is a nickname given by Michal K. himself, and it has stayed ever since. It’s been around for many years — roughly as long as its owner, Ľubica Orechovská, has been connected to Pohoda. For twenty years, she curated and coordinated the Bažant Kinematograf summer cinema project, which made regular stops at (Bažant) Pohoda, screening films from dusk till dawn.
This year, she is a proud member of the core team, looking after all of Pohoda’s wonderful partners — from the biggest ones to those almost invisible to the naked eye. Without them, Pohoda wouldn’t be as big, colourful, or comfortable as it is.
Throughout all these years, she has also enjoyed Pohoda as a festivalgoer. She rediscovered the festival through the eyes of her children as they arrived and grew up. They are adults now and have their own Best of Pohoda musical memories.
This DJ set is a celebration of 30 years of Pohoda — of joy and good spirits. It is a clash of favourite tracks that, for the holders of the Eternal Pohoda Pass and the four members of the “Family Nuts”, define this remarkable festival.
