Legendary Slovak alternative band Bez ladu a skladu will return to the Trenčín airport in grand style. At the 30th edition of Pohoda, they will perform a special sunrise concert together with the Trenčín brass orchestra Lucerka, welcoming the first light of Sunday morning with a unique fusion of alternative music, brass arrangements, and the unmistakable energy of one of Slovakia’s most influential bands.
After celebrating 40 years together in 2025 with a series of special two-hour concerts and the first-ever vinyl release of their album Iba raz, Bez ladu a skladu continue to prove why they remain one of the defining acts of the Czech and Slovak alternative scene. In 2009, The New York Times named them among the bands that “contributed to the fall of the Iron Curtain.”
Their concerts have always been more than just performances — they are celebrations of freedom, individuality, and sharp-witted songwriting. This year, Bez ladu a skladu also received the Radio_Head Awards for Lifetime Contribution to Music, further confirming their exceptional status within the Slovak music scene. Remaining true to their unique aesthetic, humour, and social attitude for four decades, the band continues to stand among the most influential acts in Slovak alternative music history.
Their collaboration with Lucerka brings an entirely new dimension to the band’s sound. “Trenčín is both the centre of Slovakia’s alternative scene and the capital of brass music. These worlds were always separated — so we decided to connect them,” said guitarist Martin Beďatš about the project, which expands the band’s iconic saxophone-driven sound into a powerful brass ensemble.
Remarkably, Bez ladu a skladu are still performing in their original line-up after four decades: Michal Kaščák, Martin Beďatš, Richard Rybníček, Peter Kaščák, Rasťo Kubica, and Peter Kohout remain a rare example of a band that has preserved its authenticity, energy, and unique spirit throughout the years.
Pohoda 2026 promises a truly unforgettable sunrise concert — a meeting point of alternative music, brass traditions, nostalgia, and the present moment.
Pohoda 2026 will feature performances by The Cure, Gorillaz, The Prodigy, Lykke Li, Denzel Curry, IDLES, Oliver Tree, Apashe & Brass Orchestra, Action Bronson, Emilíana Torrini, Baxter Dury, and many more.
