What Will Pohoda 2025 Look Like?
At Trenčín Airport, we’re currently building the “Pohoda town” from morning until night. This year, it will look different from what you’ve been used to in recent years.

Slovenská sporiteľňa Arena Moves to the Centre of the Site
Our largest festival hall, the Slovenská sporiteľňa Arena, has been redesigned. The RFS hall, reminiscent of an aircraft hangar and built by the renowned company Rekord, is 80 metres long and 40 metres wide. Unlike in previous years, it now features a wooden floor integrated into the structure itself. Thanks to this, it will also be able to host popular dance workshops during the day.
Rekord, who also provided the smaller Family Park hall (40 metres long and 30 metres wide), designs and builds its own structures. It’s known for major projects for NATO, American golf tournaments, and cooperation with the well-known Polish Open’er Festival.
The Family Park remains in its original location, near the main stage and the airport tower.

Domes Rise Up at Pohoda
We’ve added three dome-like festival structures from the Croatian company KUPOLE, resembling space stations.
Thanks to this, the KOFOLA Stage now has a new look. As usual, it will showcase the best of the Czech and Slovak music scene, but you can also look forward to performances by British artists such as DEADLETTER and Geordie Greep. The 14-metre stage with its beautiful dome has been relocated towards the village of Biskupice and can now be found near the funfair rides and the Lola bar.
KUPOLE also brings us the 25-metre Crowderberry Club dome, featuring a 360° stage. Alongside discussions, you can enjoy outstanding concerts by Ventolin, Vojtik, and the live debut of the Slovak-American duo Bene & Video Dave.
The artwork Disobedience Archive by Italian artist Marco Scotini will also be housed in a dome – a 20-metre structure with a silver roof.

EUrópa Stage and Swiss Re Arena as White Big Tops
The EUrópa Stage remains in the same place as in previous years. In a white big top by the German company MCR, you can enjoy discussions, theatre performances, and concerts by the likes of Anoushka Shankar and the British band Ugly.
A smaller big top from MCR will host non-profit organisations and civic associations. The NGO Zone, an integral part of Pohoda, will now have a more pleasant and airy space. The Swiss Re Arena will also be the venue for discussions and quizzes, and now includes an NGO bar.

MCR also works with our long-term partner Megaforce, a German company that supplies our largest festival stages – the Zlatý Bažant Stage and the Orange Stage.Zlatý Bažant Stage, photo: Michal Hradský
“The site will look better, because there will be more light. We’ll have more security, more toilets. At the same time, we’re keeping the wide walkways, spaciousness, and preventing sound bleed. We also have new contractors for key festival structures. In terms of Open Air, we’re continuing our partnership with Megaforce, which is truly one of the top stage-building companies out there. When it comes to other structures, like the two festival halls – the Family Park and the Slovenská sporiteľňa Arena – we’re working with the Polish company Rekord. Their great advantage is that they don’t just assemble and dismantle the buildings; they also develop, design, and manufacture them. They care for the structures from start to finish, so they know them inside and out – and the result is absolutely top-quality,” said festival director Michal Kaščák in an interview for SME.
