Meowlau x Val at Pohoda 2022

At Pohoda 2022, you can also experience the drum-and-bass/pop project Meowlau x Val whose debut EP Nevermind released in February this year has put them on the map in the local scene. The project’s distinctive feature is represented by the collab of two female artists: Laura Jašková (Meowlau) who covers electronic production and Valentina Vlková (Val) who provides vocals.

Meowlau x Val are also ambassadors of the Spotify playlist “Equal CZ&SK” which supports female artists in the music industry and makes them more visible. Thanks to this initiative, they also appeared on a billboard at New York’s Times Square.

A blend of intense atmosphere in combo with energizing drum&bass&pop beats is a perfect fit for those who do not want to just stand around at gigs. The female duo will be accompanied by the master of “live drum&bass” beats, Martin Miklis.
