Enjoy Pohoda 2025 with Bažant
At Pohoda, beer isn’t just a beverage—it’s part of the festival experience. A well poured glass can become as memorable as a powerful concert or a sunset conversation. And behind this experience is a dedicated team that makes it happen, from logistics planning to the bartenders on the ground.
09. July 2025
After a ten-year break, the Zlatý Bažant brand returns as the main partner of the festival. This renewed partnership builds on years of part collaborations and reflects the shared values of both brands—focus on quality, Slovak origin, and authenticity. The partnership also brings the return of the main stage under the name Zlatý Bažant Stage and the creation of a dedicated zone focused on beer culture and Slovak gastronomy. What does this mean in practice?
ZLATÝ BAŽANT ZONE
The goal of the Zlatý Bažant zone is to offer festival visitors a premium experience in every aspect. You will find the zone is practically next to the main Zlatý Bažant stage. Zlatý Bažant has prepared a space full of comfort and design, but above all of excellent Slovak beer served with top-quality tapping and a unique gastronomic experience. You will get to see and even touch the Tosca barley, specially grown for Pohoda visitors, that is used to produce our 100% Hurbanovo malt.
BEER
Beer in the zone will be served exclusively in glass—unique Bažant beer mugs designed by a renowned Slovak designer. On tap you’ll find tank Zlatý Bažant 12% with a bitterness of 32 EBU, delivering a flavour that will teleport you straight to the Hurbanovo brewery, as well as Zlatý Bažant '73, a popular lager with 26 EBU and full-bodied taste that will satisfy even the most discerning beer lovers, and classic refreshing Zlatý Bažant 10%. For those who prefer moderation, the taps will also offer non-alcoholic Zlatý Bažant 0.0% and the fan-favourite Radler Lemon 0.0%.
The taps in the Zlatý Bažant zone will be overseen by master tapster Martin Melo Meliš who will also lead a beer tapping school in the zone. There, anyone can try their hand at properly pouring beer and observe the entire process from the tap to the perfect foam.
To ensure beer comfort extends to the tent camp, a special Zlatý Bažant Beer trailer will be stationed there. This means that visitors will be able to enjoy fresh draught beer right by their tent, without needing to head toward the main zone.
FOOD
The zone will also feature high quality Slovak cuisine, curated by the acclaimed Slovak restaurant 4 sochy from Banská Štiavnica. This won’t be typical festival fare but rather a gastronomic space focused on local ingredients—every dish in the zone has been specially designed and prepared exclusively for the Zlatý Bažant zone and the Pohoda festival. On the menu, you will find, for example, young piglet in a bun roasted in dark Zlatý Bažant beer (also available in a gluten-free version), zander with a chickpea-lentil salad with fennel, grapefruit and rosemary inspired by the namesake radler, as well as a Slovak take on pasta in the form of šúľance with tomato sauce, spinach leaves and Hiadlovec cheese. You can also look forward to a unique dessert made directly from Zlatý Bažant 0.0% beers and radlers.
DESIGN
Zlatý Bažant will also present a limited edition of merch in their zone: hoodies, t-shirts, caps, and waist bags with a design created especially for Pohoda 2025. You can purchase the merch at the merch shop in the Zlatý Bažant zone or get it during selected times in exchange for a simple activity.
RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR
On Sunday morning, a zone with alcohol testers will be available in the Zlatý Bažant Beer trailer in the tent camp, where you can easily check your residual alcohol level and calmly plan your way home. This initiative by the Zlatý Bažant brand is a part of an effort to increase safety and support responsible behaviour in a relaxed yet cultivated festival atmosphere.
FESTIVAL EXPEDITION INTO THE WORLD OF CRAFT
In the spot where Pohoda visitors have traditionally found beers from craft breweries, this year there will be a zone by the young Slovak brand BRADÁČ, offering popular Bradáč craft beers: Czech Pale Lager Bradáč Rainbow, India Pale Lager Bradáč Ocean, and American Pale Ale Bradáč Aloha.
In addition to beers, Bradáč has also prepared various activities—you can look forward to a barber, a makeup artist, or even try your luck at winning tickets to Pohoda 2026.
The craft zone will also feature selected international specials, such as the iconic American IPA Lagunitas, the Belgian cherry lambic Mort Subite, or the wheat beer Edelweiss.
And finally, you will also find the iconic refreshing Heineken on tap at the Pohoda Slnečnice bar.
