Latvian six-piece Tautumeitas will perform at the 30th edition of Pohoda Festival as part of the festival's collaboration with Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture. Their concert will take place on Friday, 10 July at 12:45 in Café Kušnierik – Trenčín 2026.
Tautumeitas are among the most distinctive acts on today's Baltic music scene. Their music blends ancient Latvian folk songs, traditional polyphonic singing and folklore with contemporary production, creating a unique sound that moves effortlessly between tradition and modernity.
The band has built an international reputation through performances at renowned festivals including Glastonbury, Eurosonic, Rudolstadt Festival and Festival du Bout du Monde. Their live shows are immersive and visually striking, driven by rich vocal harmonies, choreographed movement and a subtle ritualistic energy that captivates audiences.
In 2025, Tautumeitas represented Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in 13th place and reaching an even wider international audience. With new music arriving in June 2026, the band continues to expand across Europe while preparing for their first U.S. tour in early 2027.
Their appearance is one of several special events made possible through the partnership between Pohoda Festival and Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture. We are delighted to welcome one of the Baltic region's most exciting contemporary acts, bringing a fresh and powerful interpretation of folk traditions to Pohoda.

The 2026 Pohoda Festival is officially sold out, only one-day tickets for Wednesday, July 8—The Cure Extra Day—are still available.
If you already have a 3-day ticket for Pohoda 2026, you can still upgrade it with access to Wednesday and The Cure through a discounted upgrade ticket. Upgrades for 3-day parking and glamping products are also still available.
