“Music brings people together, and our aim is to connect all worlds, because we are all human, and the most precious thing we have in this world is the time we’ve been given. So let’s make the most of it and enjoy this final performance of the festival together… no one can ever take our memories away,” invite Lomnické Čháve and Muzička to the Sunday Sun Salutation gathering at Pohoda 2025.
The talented Romani musicians Lomnické Čháve are committed to reviving and spreading the richness of Romani culture. They’ve managed to do just that several times at Pohoda – for example, in 2018, when they performed during the Sun Salutation, drawing what was perhaps the largest crowd to date. Many still remember the energetic dancing in front of the stage from that morning.
The folk music band Muzička was formed in 1990 in Bratislava by a group of friends, around twenty years old at the time, who had fallen in love with raw, authentic Slovak folklore. Over time, some members moved on and new ones joined – skilled, musically accomplished folk players. Muzička has been playing in its current line-up since 2007. Muzička are Tomáš Brunovský (violin), Laco Fekete (violin), Ivan Hanula (violin), Martin Brunovský (viola kontra), Mišo Brdársky (viola kontra), Peter Obuch (double bass, folk bass).
We’ve already experienced both of these groups during the Sun Salutation at Pohoda. This year, they will come together for the final musical performance of Pohoda 2025 on the Zlatý Bažant Stage. We’ll enjoy their performance in the early hours of Sunday morning at 5 a.m.
