DFS Radosť SK
The programme of the Albatros Family Park at Pohoda 2026 will also feature a performance by the Children's Folklore Ensemble Radosť from Trenčín. One of Slovakia’s most respected children's folklore ensembles will bring lively dances, songs, games and traditions to Trenčín Airport, sharing a cultural heritage they have been passing on to new generations for more than fifty years.
Founded in 1974 in Trenčín, DFS Radosť has introduced hundreds of children and young people to folk music, singing, dancing and Slovak traditions. Today, the ensemble is led by Roman Šteininger and continues its mission of preserving and authentically presenting the richness of Slovak folklore.
Its repertoire focuses primarily on the traditions of the Trenčín region, while also showcasing songs, dances and games from many other parts of Slovakia. The ensemble’s performances combine the enthusiasm of young performers with a deep respect for folk culture, making them popular with audiences both at home and abroad.
At Pohoda, DFS Radosť will perform together with its folk band, presenting a programme that will delight children, parents and anyone who enjoys living traditions and folklore in its joyful and authentic form.
We look forward to welcoming DFS Radosť to the Albatros Family Park at Pohoda 2026.
