Drum 'n' Bass Legend LTJ Bukem at Pohoda 2026
One of the most influential figures in the history of drum and bass, LTJ Bukem, will perform at Pohoda Festival. He is also the first confirmed artist of a special drum and bass night that will take place during Saturday night at the SLSP Arena. This unique night is being prepared together with the legendary Slovak crew Drumatique, who—just like Pohoda—are celebrating 30 years on the scene. Drumatique has played a crucial role in shaping the drum and bass community in Slovakia for three decades.

LTJ Bukem, born Danny Williamson, is widely regarded as a pioneer of the genre. Since the early 1990s he has helped shape the sound of atmospheric and intelligent drum and bass, not only as a DJ and producer but also as the founder of the influential label Good Looking Records.
His iconic tracks such as Logical Progression, Demon’s Theme, Horizons and Music became defining moments for the genre. The compilation Logical Progression (1995) remains one of the best-selling drum and bass releases ever and helped bring the sound from underground clubs to an international audience.
Bukem is renowned for his deep, atmospheric DJ sets that blend drum and bass with jazz, ambient and soul influences. More than three decades into his career, he remains one of the most respected artists in the scene, delivering sets that captivate both long-time fans and newcomers.
Saturday night at the SLSP Arena at Pohoda 2026 will therefore become a special celebration of drum and bass culture—bringing together generations of artists and fans on one dancefloor.
Over three days (Thursday to Saturday), Pohoda 2026 will feature performances by Gorillaz, The Prodigy, Lykke Li, Denzel Curry, IDLES, Oliver Tree, Apashe & Brass Orchestra, Action Bronson, Emilíana Torrini, Baxter Dury, and many more.
For the first time in Pohoda’s history, there will also be a standalone Extra Day, featuring The Cure, The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard, and Denis Bango. For Wednesday – The Cure Extra Day, it is possible to purchase a single-day ticket or combine the experience with the full festival by buying a 4-day pass, which is currently the most cost-effective way to enjoy Pohoda in its entirety. Pohoda Festival will take place on July 8 & July 9–11, 2026, at Trenčín Airport.
