Stephen Budd to Bring African Beats and World Music to Pohoda
Stephen Budd is the man who created festivals across Africa, UK, Europe and the Far East. At Pohoda, he will appear as a DJ, mixing a brilliant set of World Music, Jazz and Disco to get you dancing.

Musically, his speciality is African music – he managed Malian superstars Songhoy Blues and has worked with artists such as Fatoumata Diawara and Seun Kuti. For many years he worked with Damon Albarn’s Africa Express on their projects across Africa and in Europe.
He's also known as a music manager, TV presenter and is involved in charity initiatives like Give a Home (Amnesty International and Sofar Sounds) and Passport: Back To The Bars (War Child). His passion for the Africa's music eventually led him to amass a vast collection of original 1970s vinyl, packed with musical gems from Ghana, Nigeria, Congo, and beyond.
As a DJ he mixes that together with the best of Up temp Jazz, obscure Disco and Funk and more...You’ll be able to dance to his vibrant DJ set on Friday night.
