Prestigious award for the Pohoda team: Andrea Blahová named among New Bosses 2026 by the international IQ Magazine

We're thrilled about the success of Andrea Blahová, a member of our wider festival team. The international IQ Magazine, one of the most prestigious trade publications in the global music industry, has included her in this year's selection of The New Bosses 2026, an annual list showcasing 20 of the most outstanding young professionals shaping the future of the concert and festival world.

Alongside Pohoda, Andrea works year-round with the Prague-based collective Heartnoize Promotion, which organizes concerts for the independent music scene. She's also involved in producing other festivals and concerts across Czechia and Slovakia. 

Andrea has been part of the Pohoda team since 2023 as artist hospitality manager. During the festival, she leads a backstage team of roughly 30 people, looking after both domestic and international artists.

In her interview with IQ Magazine, Andrea named her work at Pohoda as one of the biggest milestones of her career: "Becoming artist hospitality manager at Pohoda was one of the biggest milestones of my life and a childhood dream come true. I still find it unbelievable to prepare backstage for names like Iggy Pop, The Cure, Caroline Polachek, Fontaines D.C., and so many other exceptional artists." The New Bosses selection is compiled each year based on nominations from international music industry experts, and features young professionals under 30 who bring fresh ideas and push live music forward.
