Pohoda among Top 10 festivals with the best line-up at European Festival Awards
Pohoda is the only medium-sized festival to be among the 10 festivals with the best line-up in Europe. This was decided by a panel of music industry experts. “This nomination can be considered a miracle. I am proud that our foreign colleagues and experts take note of our approach to programme production and appreciate its quality. Thank you to everyone who helped us with the programme,“– said Michal Kaščák about the nomination. In addition to Pohoda, the list includes only events of the "heaviest weight category" with much greater capacity and, especially, a greater budget, such as Glastonbury, Primavera, Sziget, Rock Werchter or metal Wacken Open Air. It is a great honour and satisfaction for us to be in this list. Moreover, this has been the third nomination in the last four years. Pohoda is traditionally also in the wider nomination in the Best Medium Festival category.

Europe's most prestigious festival awards, European Festival Awards, announced today the first round of their annual poll. Festival representatives, promoters, agents and journalists have already selected ten festivals with the best programme, and Pohoda is also included. “The line-up quality is still a deciding factor for the majority of festival-goers, and so this award crowns the festival that managed to create the most exciting programme in accordance with their means,” says the category description. In addition, festival enthusiasts can support their favourite events in other categories from now on as well. Pohoda is regularly nominated among the best medium-sized festivals.
The winners in each category are decided by a combination of experts’ and public’s votes. To a large extent, our final score is in your hands, too.
