Para celebrates 30 years at the 30th edition of Pohoda
One of Slovakia's best concert bands, Para, is returning to Pohoda – and in grand style. At Pohoda 2026, which will also be the 30th edition of the festival, Para will additionally celebrate its 30th birthday this year. Symbolic, exceptional, and above all connected – just as befits the shared history of Para and Pohoda.

Para is also the most frequently performing band in the history of the Pohoda festival, having played 17 unforgettable concerts there to date. Each of them was proof that Para is one of those bands that not only wins over the audience, but also sings, dances, and experiences every song to the fullest with them.
The band was formed in Bratislava in 1995 and over the course of three decades has become an integral part of the Slovak music scene. They have released eight studio albums, numerous hits, and won many awards, including Radio_Head Awards, Aurel, and Anděl. Their energetic, catchy, and emotional concerts have made them a band that simply must be experienced live.
"What can I say about Para's performance at Pohoda? Just listen to their perfect song Menšina, it says it all. After all, 'relationships and promises are our foundation,' says Michal Kaščák, adding: “Our relationship with Para began when Matúš Vallo scolded me on the street in Bratislava during the second year of Pohoda, asking why they weren't playing at our festival... Since then, we've had an exceptionally open relationship, which will enter a new phase in 2026 thanks to their eighteenth Pohoda festival - I'm already looking forward to the audacity with which we will operate in this mature phase... :) In any case, it's wonderful to see how a fledgling band has become a domestic headliner. I think we can celebrate thirty years of our journey together with joy and pride."
