Novelties in the deposit system
Every year, we try to come up with an eco-friendly solution to reduce waste. This year, we've introduced the deposit system for smaller beverage cups and coffee cups. For this reason, we have moved the €2 deposit refund for all types of cups from the beverage centers to separate stands. You can find them on the map under the "V" symbol. They are located by the Garage, next to the Lunter restaurant, between the SLSP Arena and the Smoke-free zone, in the Gastro zone behind the SLSP Garden, and opposite the Orange stage. The cups are cleaned outside the festival area in a special line. Using a returnable cup twice is already more environmentally friendly than disposable plastic cups.

Another novelty is that all PET bottles legally contain a €0.15 deposit fee, which is already included in the price of the drink. You can take the returnable PET bottles home and exchange them in shops, or you can drop them off at the separation points, and the Music Saves Ukraine tent. All proceeds from the returned bottles will be donated to this initiative. Therefore by donating a returnable bottle or can, you will be contributing to the humanitarian aid to Ukraine. We have two deposit machines from the Deposit System Administrator in the back office to process them.
