New shop, tickets for kids and reduced admissions for juniors

New shop, tickets for kids and reduced admissions for juniors

We launched a new shop with several innovations on our website. The big news is that we will sell e-tickets in Slovakia only through our website and we will close our cooperation with Ticketportal. The advantage of the new setting is the possibility to combine all items from the shop (printed tickets and e-tickets, parking, tent, merch, etc.) in one order. We are changing the admission for children. We are pleased with the growing number of kid visitors and appreciate the trust of parents; we are happy that Pohoda is also a place of meeting of various generations. However, it is important for Pohoda to remain comfortable for all, therefore since next yearʼs edition, we will include children over 6 years of age into the total capacity of the festival and will consequently introduce “children” tickets. Admission for children from 6 to 12 years of age will be €39 in pre-sale and €49 on the spot. Another novelty accommodating juniors will be “junior” tickets for visitors from 13 to 17 years of age: the price will be reduced, compared to adult tickets. Tickets for juniors will cost €79 before the festival (€99 on the spot). Tent spots in Family Park and Silent Camp are available for sale starting today, each for €10.

Please note that one ticket only applies to one tent that will be labelled by the service; tents or arbours without a label will be removed. The condition for accommodation in the Family Park is the presence of a child not older that 12 years of age (including) in the tent, and the child should truly be staying overnight at the festival. Despite the fantastic approach of the vast majority of visitors, we have seen several cases of breaking the rules, building multiple tents with just one tent ticket, or building a tent in the Family Park without the actual presence of kids. We kindly ask visitors not to misuse these measures that are primarily designed to make it easier for children to stay at the festival.

We are also launching the sales of individual sectors for parking cars, caravans, and motorbikes. The parking system will have slight changes: parking will be divided into 4 sectors. Parking fees will be as follows: P1 with a capacity of 1000 cars will cost €35, P2 with a capacity of 1000 cars will be €30, P3 with a capacity of 1000 cars will be €25, and P4 with a capacity of 1600 cars will be €20. Caravan parking fee will be €99 and parking for motorcycles will be €20. Wheelchair users, pregnant women, and families with children up to 6 years of age can also use any parking card for parking in the P0 sector, which is located closest to the festival grounds. The condition for pregnant women to use this benefit is showing a pregnancy book; families with small children must have a child on board and show a proof of age indicated in childʼs insurance card. We ask drivers not to abuse the parking lots dedicated for wheelchair users, pregnant women, and families with children.

Next year, we plan to significantly increase the number of turnstiles and reinforce accreditation for children at the Opatovce gate (access from the parking lots); this year, a record number of visitors passed through this gate. These measures aim to prevent long lines for those visitors arriving by car, as the usage ratio of the gate for people arriving by car to the other gate for pedestrians, cyclists, and visitors using the shuttles and taxis has changed significantly; the ratio of 55:45 in 2017 changed to 80:20 this year. That is why, in the effort to leave as small footprint on the environment as possible, we would like to kindly ask you to use means of mass transport, other forms of a greener transport or shared transport, such as #spolunapohodu, as much as possible when arriving to the festival. The less busy Biskupice gate will allow you to get sooner to a better camping spot and the festival grounds as well.

Our shop also offers tickets for the concerts of Rodriguez and Anna Calvi. On Monday, 10 September, we will launch the sales of Inovec and Trenčín huts and tickets for Donny Benét concerts will also be made available.
