Four nominations, three discussions, and two Slovak concerts. We arrived in Groningen, Netherlands, for ESNS 2026

At noon today, we arrived in Groningen, Netherlands, for ESNS 2026 – the largest and most prestigious showcase festival in Europe. Tonight, we will attend the European Festival Awards 2025, where Pohoda has four nominations in the categories Best Medium Sized Festival, Promoter Of The Year, Take A Stand, and New Kid On The Block.

Together with the Hungarian Sziget Festival and the Norwegian Øyafestivalen, we are among the most nominated festivals in Europe. Keep your fingers crossed for us to take home some of the awards.

The following days will be filled with concerts, discussions, and inspiring meetings. The Slovak music scene will be represented at ESNS this year by the bands Tolstoys and Vojdi. Members of our Pohoda team will also be presenting at the conference – Michal in the panel Solidarity, Unity and Cooperation: Festivals Fighting for Survival, Paulička in the discussion Activism, Technical Failure, Fire, Weather, Crowd Incidents: When the Show Cannot Go On! nd Kika, who is also nominated for the New Kid On The Block award, will appear in the panel Tomorrow’s Festivals Today: Insights from Young Professionals.
