Fallgrapp began as an original project of musician and producer Jureš Líška and gradually grew into a 6-member band fronted by vocalist Nora Ibsenová.
Their music is defined by a sophisticated blend of electronics, live instruments, and captivating female vocals. Layered arrangements, an unconventional approach to Slovak lyrics, and a strong visual component place the band among the most remarkable Slovak music projects.
In 2024, Fallgrapp celebrated ten years on the scene with a special project in collaboration with the 10-member Spectrum Orchestra led by violinist Ján Kružliak Jr. The result was a unique musical fusion, where well-known songs were given a new face thanks to original arrangements by Andrea Kružliaková, Haimoni Balgavá, and Martin Majlo Štefánik. The musical experience brought by this collaboration will continue to evolve with new arrangements of songs from the current album Anthropos.
Fallgrapp have released four albums so far, each bringing a new perspective on their work. The distinctive debut Rieka (2014) drew attention with its original sound and powerful message, earning record breaking four Radio_Head Awards in one year. Album V hmle (2017) expanded their musical language with new sounds and collaborations with artists such as Jana Kirschner, Juraj Benetin, and Vec. Ostrov (2020) showcased a colourful, dynamic, yet still unmistakable character of the band. Their current release, Anthropos (2025), stays true to their unique style while also surprising with experimental elements. We are excited that songs from this album will premiere at Pohoda 2025.
