Do you perhaps need wellbeing? Director Juraj Johanides asks in his new video spots for Pohoda

Superheros Jana Kirschner, Juraj Benetin, Lasky, Adam Dragun, Patrik Nagy, Petra Polnišová, and Richard Stanke have come together in the latest series by director Juraj Johanides. Along with an excellent crew, they created a series of six fictional video spots for Pohoda.

11. June 2025

The central character in the spots is Dr. Pohoda, who, dressed in a stylish sweater, prescribes “Pohoda” (that translates as “Wellbeing” in English) to his clients. “If you want to, even temporarily, boost your mental immunity against what is currently happening around you, you need Pohoda,” explains the creative director Juraj Johanides.

“Juraj is amazing. In one afternoon, he managed to create something seemingly impossible with his team in Július Barczi’s apartment. His 2014 spots became cult classics, and funnily enough, their release date aligns with this year’s edition. I’m glad we’ve teamed up again for such a collaboration. Huge thanks to all the creators—both in front and behind the camera. We had a great time shooting and I believe it shows,” says the mysterious Dr. Pohoda about the making of the TV spots.
