52 Hertz Whale

Bratislavaʼs band 52 Hertz Whale plays post-rock, post-punk, and post-hardcore. They are currently working on their second EP, which they plan to release early in the summer of 2017. At the very same time, they will be playing at Pohoda 2017.

Hertz Whale 52 consists of experienced musicians Renat Khallo of Teskohippies and Tomáš Tabiš of Half White Half Blue, complemented by Dominik Prok and Dominik Fabian. The music of the band called after the most lonely whale in the world features the inspiration of the 90s guitar songs. After The Jesus and Mary Chain, Slowdive, and The Ills, this is yet another band close to the shoegaze genre, though in a slightly harder version.
