Ukrainian electro-folk duo YUKO, known for their collaboration with Diplo and singer MØ, will perform at Pohoda 2026.
YUKO blend authentic Ukrainian folk songs with electronica, IDM and club production. Their music draws on traditional material collected by folklorists as well as by vocalist Yulia Yurina herself across different regions of Ukraine, transforming it into contemporary dance music. Their live shows are built on a tight connection between voice and electronics — on stage, Yulia and producer Stas Koroliov operate as a single organism generating intense energy and rhythmic drive.
YUKO released their debut album Ditch in 2017 and quickly emerged as one of the most compelling projects in Ukrainian alternative electronic music. They gained international attention through their collaboration with Diplo and MØ on the track Stay Open and performances at major European festivals and leading Ukrainian events.
After ending the project in 2020, YUKO return in 2026 to mark the project’s 10th anniversary. The year will bring a limited number of special reunion shows described by the duo as a one-time celebration, with no plans to continue the project beyond this occasion.
At Pohoda 2026 we will experience a rare meeting of folklore and contemporary electronics in the work of a project that has bridged tradition with the club scene and brought Ukrainian musical heritage into an international context.
