transparadiso (Barbara Holub / Paul Rajakovics): BambooKaza (2021) SK
BambooKaza is an artistic-architectural project by the studio transparadiso (Barbara Holub), consisting of foldable bamboo canopies that serve as mobile structures ("islands") designed to create spaces for social gathering and informal congress centres. These artistic constructions function as protection from sun and rain ("a roof for the community") and as spaces for discussions on resolving social conflicts.
The BambooKaza visual stage at the Pohoda festival is part of the Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture project and serves as a platform for contemporary visual art, enriching the festival programme with installations, performances, and discussions.
