The Hydrant ID

Orange stage Friday 15:00 Show in program
The Hydrant

The Indonesian pioneers of the rockabilly genre, The Hydrant, played at Pohoda in 2009. Already before the concert, Slovak journalists announced that they would bring joy, enthusiasm, commitment, and a real passion for music. Hospodárske noviny wrote that their appearance in NAY Dance house was an extraordinary success. So far they have released 5 studio albums and played at hundreds of concerts, among them the last year's performance at Viva Las Vegas, the biggest rockabilly festival in the world.

The music of this Balinese band will bring you not to Indonesia, but to the United States of the fifties last century. Topper—a drummer who refuses to sit, Adi—an acrobatic contra bassist, Vincet—and his hazardous guitar solos, and Shello—a singer and dancer, nicknamed Elvis of Bali, will use their mixture of rock and roll, country, swing, and blues to bring also Pohoda 2017 to dance.
