Poviedka: 30 Years of the Short Story Competition

Join us in celebrating three decades of Poviedka, one of Slovakia’s most influential literary competitions. Founder and organiser Koloman Kertész Bagala will look back at the achievements of its laureates since 1996 and introduce the jury of the 30th edition.

Three acclaimed former winners – Dominika Moravčíková, Karin Kissová, and Anna Valentová – will present their latest books. Actress Jana Oľhová will read selected excerpts, accompanied by live visual art by Milan Prekop.
