Peter Aristone is a Slovak singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, now based in Prague, whose music has caught the attention of some of the UK’s top music producers.
In 2014, he released the album 19 Days in Tetbury, recorded at producer Greg Haver’s studio in England. The album features Cool As You – a duet with Melanie C, who also launched the album – and includes a guest appearance by James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers.
His more folk-influenced EPs, Gold and Happiest Accidents, were produced in 2016 by Sacha Skarbek (Adele, James Blunt, Miley Cyrus). The track Gold made it into rotation on American MTVU, and thanks to its success, he toured America and Europe with soul singer Marc Broussard.
The lead producer of his most recent album The Hit was Mark Plati, best known for his work with David Bowie. The single Far became the most-played track on Czech radio. Peter continues to work on new songs, and we’ll have the chance to hear some of his latest songs live at Pohoda.
