Inuit Stories, on Inuit Terms
Aka Hansen, a Greenlandic filmmaker, writer, and activist from Kalaallit Nunaat, is one of the leading voices of the contemporary Inuit decolonial movement. Through her creative work and public engagement, she advocates for the right of Inuit people to tell their own stories, exploring questions of identity, gender, queer experience, and what it means to reclaim language, memory, and the future.
This event is part of the Month of Author’s Reading festival and will be moderated by Katarína Karafová.
