Pohoda 2026 will feature the Ukrainian quartet Hyphen Dash, one of the most intriguing acts on the contemporary Ukrainian music scene. In their work, they blend hip-hop, jazz, electronic music, and prog-rock, pushing the boundaries of instrumental music.
The band was formed in 2019 and consists of Myshko Birchenko (drums), Yevhen Puhachov (guitar, bass), Polina Maiboroda (keyboards), and Dmytro Startsev (keybords). To date, they have released a live EP recorded at the NAMU Museum, several singles in collaboration with domestic and international artists, and a mixtape of demo recordings. Their album Basement 626, created just ten kilometers from the front line, even caught the attention of Rolling Stone magazine. Their latest album, LATE, which took six years to complete, confirms the band’s ambition to push both their own sound and the entire scene forward.
At the Trenčín airport, Hyphen Dash will deliver an energetic concert full of rhythm, improvisation, and genre-bending surprises—exactly the kind of show the open-minded festival audience deserves.
