HUMAN WAVE (site-specific na Garáži)  ^SK

This musical formation emerged as an inseparable part of the conceptual project of the artistic movement of the same name. It moves along the edge of multiple influences and mixes various genres.

Human Wave brings to Pohoda a specially adapted version of its hybrid performance. Experience a human wave tuned to the punk vibrations of Pohoda's Garáž. A moment that won't repeat itself, an experience you don't want to miss.

The first part of the hybrid performance draws musically on the new wave era of the '80s, synth pop, and harder electronica with elements of DADA. Its second part brings industrial-noise rhythmic tracks with contributions from Miro Tóth, complemented by the urgent "screech" of Tomo Michalčák (XCES). With him comes a segment that unfolds in virtual reality, controlling all sound parameters live and improvised from an Oculus headset into Ableton Live. In the finale, charismatic Dominik Prok takes over the urgency and declaration of current themes, and the musical work is closed out with an epilogue by performer and singer Zuzana Psotková (Standard Society).

Contributing to the music were names such as well-known singer-songwriter Dominik Prok (52 Hertz Whale), singer Vanessa Weisz, multi-instrumentalist and composer Tomo Michalčák (XCES), musician and producer Richard Zagiba (Kurkus), Peter Radkoff, and Robert Tkáč. Also contributing as authors to the music were composers and musicians Miro Tóth, Tomáš Mutina (Terminal State), Dominik Suchý, and František Psotka (FARA, Standard Society).
