Cyberattacks are being talked about more and more frequently—and not just among security IT guys somewhere in mysterious rooms full of computer screens. At the beginning of last year, it became a major topic among the general public, in the media, at schools, and in offices. It feels like these attacks are popping up everywhere, even from our fridges and microwaves... But what should you actually imagine under the term "cyberattack"? In this lecture, we will discuss what such an attack looks like, how it can start, and when we have the earliest chance to detect it. And to keep it from being just about theory, there will also be some live demonstrations.
