Deviatkakhere Čhave SK
Deviatkakhere Čhave is a children's choir from the Košice borough Luník IX. They have been active since 2019 at the Ľ. Podjavorinská 1 Elementary School. The choirmaster is Ondrej Ferko. The choir currently has over 40 members, including students, teachers and assistants. They sing an international repertoire in Slovak, Romany, English, Italian, Spanish or Latin and also work on their own compositions.
They have performed during Pope Francis' visit to Lunik IX; at the Roma Spirit Awards and at Gypsy Fest in Bratislava. Thanks to an invitation from the European Parliament, they also got a chance to perform in Brussels. Deviatkakhere Čhave is a choir where talent is born and effort is turned into success.
