Pohoda 2026 will welcome one of the most compelling voices of the contemporary Slovak music scene – Christina Mantis. The singer-songwriter, who has been gaining attention not only from local audiences but also beyond Slovakia in recent years, will bring her distinctive musical world to Pohoda, full of energy, immediacy, and a unique perspective on society.
Christina Mantis is an artist whose songs and lyrics serve as honest, sometimes sarcastic reflections on personal life, women in society, relationships, and the everyday revolution that each of us can bring about. Her music has been shaped by rock ’n’ roll, soul, and punk, influences that resonate through her original sound and expressive performances.
She debuted in 2023 with the single Homeless, followed by the video for Set Me Free (2024), which received airplay on Slovak radio stations as well as on iHeartRadio in the United States. In October 2024 she released the visually striking video He Doesn’t Mind, which later appeared on her debut EP. Released in early February 2025 both digitally and on vinyl, the EP features six tracks infused with “gritty elegance,” vintage aesthetics, and the sounds of the 1960s. Critics and fans alike praised its bold yet emotional atmosphere and lyrics that explore themes of self-discovery, freedom, and reflections on society.
Her talent has not gone unnoticed – at the Radio_Head Awards she was named Slovak New Comer of the Year 2024, placing her among the most prominent emerging names on the Slovak music scene.
Following a successful tour that took her to the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, and England, Christina now arrives at Pohoda with her band. Audiences can look forward to an energetic and authentic performance that combines musical originality with lyrical depth – driven by honesty, personal expression, and creative freedom.
