Black Box Revelation BE

Orange stage Saturday 17:00 Show in program
Black Box Revelation

Belgian rock band Black Box Revelation starred in David Lettermanʼs Late Show and their songs were used in series such as Californication, The Vampire Diaries, Sons of Anarchy, and True Blood. Their anthemic hit “I Think I Like You” is played before and after every match of the first league baseball team Pittsburgh Pirates. To hear this and other great songs, you do not have to go to PNC Park, simply come to Pohoda 2017.

Belgian garage-rock band Black Box Revelation consists of singer and guitarist Jan Paternoster and drummer Dries Van Dijck.  They have released four albums so far: Set Your Head On Fire (2007), Silver Threats (2010), My Perception (2011) (recorded in LA at Alain Johannes—Queens of the Stone Age, Cris Cornell, Them Crooked Vultures), and Highway Cruise (2015). The latest album features the collaboration with Thomas TNT Brenneck (played guitar with Sharon Jones and Amy Winehouse and produced Alabama Shakes, Mark Ronson, and The Kaiser Chiefs). Black Box Revelation especially is an excellent concert band. They have toured with dEUS, Eagles Of Death Metal, and Iggy Pop and appeared at festivals such as the Bonnaroo, Rock Werchter, Sziget, Pukkelpop, Rock en Seine, and many others. Pohoda will be added to the list at the beginning of July.
