What is THE CURE Extra Day?

THE CURE Extra Day is a special day celebrating the 30th edition of the Pohoda festival, taking place on Wednesday, 8 July 2026 at Trenčín Airport. The Cure will perform a full concert, preceded by Just Mustard, The Twilight Sad, and Denis Bango. The night will continue with an afterparty featuring DJ Hiroko Yamamura and other events. The venue, with its bars, services, and various activities, will remain open all night.

PROGRAMME

On Wednesday, 8 July during THE CURE Extra Day, several international and local acts will perform at Pohoda alongside the legendary The Cure.

Before The Cure's concert, the ESET Stage will host Irish band Just Mustard from 18:00, Scottish post-punk quartet The Twilight Sad, and Slovak multi-instrumentalist Denis Bango with his project Denis Bango plays Fvck_Kvlt. The afterparty following The Cure's concert will take place across 3 stages – the SLSP Arena will be powered by American techno and house star Hiroko Yamamura, Curious City 18+ will feature Jimmy Pé, and the already iconic yellow bus with Dutch act Bazzookas will also come alive during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.

In addition, several partner zones, all food stalls, and beverage centres will be open throughout the venue.

What types of tickets are available for THE CURE Extra Day?

  • SINGLE-DAY TICKET for THE CURE Extra Day, valid only on Wednesday, 8 July – available in the ADULT, JUNIOR, KIDS, PWD, and PWD-S categories. Children aged 5 and under enter free of charge.
  • UPGRADE (adding Extra Day) – an add-on to an already purchased 3-day pass for Pohoda 2026. Available in the ADULT, JUNIOR, KIDS, PWD, and PWD-S categories. BABY tickets automatically include entry to Extra Day.

Standard 3-day passes for Pohoda 2026 (9–11 July 2026) and 4-day passes for Pohoda 2026 + The Cure Extra Day are already SOLD OUT.

Is the upgrade ticket (add-on to an already purchased 3-day pass) cheaper than a standalone ticket for THE CURE Extra Day?

Yes. The upgrade to an already purchased 3-day pass for Pohoda 2026 is more affordable than a standalone ticket for THE CURE Extra Day. All options and price categories are available in our online shop.

I already have a 3-day pass for Pohoda 2026. How do I add the extra day with The Cure?

If you already have a 3-day pass for Pohoda 2026 and wish to add THE CURE Extra Day, simply purchase THE CURE Day Upgrade in our online shop. It is available in all age categories and the PWD/PWD-S category, except for BABY tickets, which automatically include the extra day.

When purchasing the upgrade, you will need to enter the 10- or 13-digit EAN code from your physical ticket or e-ticket.

Will I receive a new ticket with the upgrade (add-on to an already purchased 3-day pass)?

No. Upon purchasing the upgrade, you will receive a payment receipt, but no new ticket will be issued. Your 3-day pass will automatically be converted into a 4-day pass, which you will use to enter the festival.

Can I give away or sell my 3-day pass upgrade to someone else?

No. The upgrade is tied to a specific pass. If you are unable to attend the extra day, you may give away or sell the entire 4-day pass. If you wish to sell your pass fairly, please use the Ticketswap service via this link.

Will THE CURE Extra Day have a limited capacity?

Yes. Like the festival as a whole, THE CURE Extra Day will have a limited capacity of 30,000 visitors. Tickets will be sold until capacity is reached.

I won a 3-day Pohoda pass (complimentary ticket) in a competition. Is it valid for THE CURE Extra Day? If not, can I upgrade it to include the extra day?

No. If you won a complimentary 3-day ticket, it is valid from Thursday, 9 July 2026. If you wish to attend THE CURE Extra Day as well, you will need to purchase a standalone ticket for that day. Upgrading a complimentary ticket (valid 9–11 July) is not possible.

If you have a standalone ticket for THE CURE Extra Day and a separate 3-day ticket for Pohoda, you will need to go through a re-wristbanding process on Thursday, 9 July from 06:00 – pass through the festival gate again, present your Pohoda pass, and receive a new festival wristband.

We are attending Pohoda with children. Do we need to buy them tickets for THE CURE Extra Day if we all want to arrive on Wednesday?

It depends on the children's age:

  • Children aged 5 and under enter THE CURE Extra Day free of charge.
  • For older children, an upgrade must be purchased according to their age category – details are available in our online shop.

We are attending ONLY THE CURE Extra Day, including with children. Do they get in for free?

The same rule applies – children aged 5 and under enter free of charge; older children require a ticket according to their age.

I am a holder of Nekonečná Pohoda (Infinite Pohoda). Does it include entry to THE CURE Extra Day?

No. If you hold Nekonečná Pohoda and wish to attend THE CURE Extra Day, you will need to purchase an upgrade. During the purchase, enter your Nekonečná Pohoda code.

Nekonečná Pohoda holders are entitled to THE CURE Extra Day upgrade at a discounted price.

How do I present my ticket at the entrance if I purchased Pohoda 2026 and THE CURE Extra Day separately?

If you have a standalone ticket for THE CURE Extra Day and a separate Pohoda ticket, you will need to go through re-wristbanding on Thursday, 9 July from 06:00 – pass through the festival gate again, present your Pohoda pass, and receive a new festival wristband.

Can the UPGRADE for 3-day tickets sell out?

Yes. The concert capacity is 30,000 people, including holders of single-day tickets.

TRANSPORT AND PARKING

I have purchased parking for Pohoda. Is it valid on Wednesday?

It depends on the type of parking. If you have a 4-day parking pass or have upgraded your 3-day parking to a 4-day one, you may remain in the car park continuously until Sunday, 12 July at 12:00. If you have purchased a 3-day parking space in any sector (Parking P1–P5, Caravan, Car Tent, XL, Moto), you will need to purchase a Wednesday upgrade in our online shop.

I am only attending THE CURE Extra Day. How will parking work?

A dedicated car park is available for THE CURE Extra Day visitors, accessible from 09:00 on 8 July until 08:00 on 9 July. This parking can be purchased in our online shop. Please note that cars with THE CURE Extra Day parking that have not left the car park by 08:00 on Thursday, 9 July will be towed.

Will there be a shuttle bus service for THE CURE Extra Day?

Yes, a shuttle bus service will operate during The Cure Extra Day.

Buses will run from the bus/train station to the festival's Gate B (on the Nozdrkovce side). The route will be:

  • Bus/train station → Pohoda: Hasičská, Električná, Električná-nemocnica, Biskupice-námestie
  • Pohoda → Bus/train station: Biskupice-nám., Gen. Svobodu, Dolný Šianec, Električná, Električná-nemocnica, Hasičská, bus station

The shuttle service will run on Wednesday, 8 July from 11:30 continuously until Sunday, 12 July, with a break on Wednesday, 8 July between 21:00 and 00:00.

The fare is €2.50 per journey.

Will there be special buses and trains for THE CURE Extra Day?

Yes, special buses will also operate for The Cure Extra Day in cooperation with Slovak Lines and RegioJet.

In partnership with RegioJet, we have arranged a special 10% discount on trains travelling from across Slovakia and the Czech Republic to Trenčín for all Pohoda 2026 ticket holders (including 1-day THE CURE Extra Day tickets).

I have a Caravan Parking space and a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day. Can I park my caravan from Wednesday?

It depends on your ticket type. If you have a 3-day space in any sector (Caravan Parking, Car Tent Parking, Parking XL, Parking Moto, or standard Parking P1–P5), you will need to purchase a Wednesday upgrade in our online shop. With a 4-day parking ticket, you may arrive from Wednesday after 09:00.

We guarantee the option to purchase a Wednesday upgrade for all already purchased tickets.

Is Caravan Parking, Car Tent Parking, and XL Parking sold exclusively for THE CURE Extra Day?

No.

I have a 3-day ticket but would like to purchase 4-day parking/caravan/glamping. Will I be able to enter the grounds by car on Wednesday, or set up camp on Wednesday?

No. Entry to the grounds — whether to the car park or to paid or free camping areas — requires a valid 4-day ticket.

ENTRY AND FESTIVAL GROUNDS

What time will the festival grounds open on Wednesday, 8 July during THE CURE Extra Day? When will the car park open? When does the programme start?

09:00 – All car parks open (including Caravan and Car Tent parking) for 4-day pass holders and THE CURE Extra Day ticket holders

12:00 – Festival grounds open, including camping areas, for 4-day pass holders and THE CURE Extra Day ticket holders

18:00 – Programme begins on the ESET Stage (Just Mustard, Twilight Sad, Denis Bango plays Fvck_Kvlt)

21:30 – The Cure concert

If I only have a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day, when will I need to leave the grounds?

Holders of single-day THE CURE Extra Day tickets must leave the festival grounds (including camping areas and car parks) by 08:00 on Thursday, 9 July. Please note that cars with single-day parking will be towed after 08:00 on Thursday. Wristband checks will be carried out with increased frequency on Thursday morning and throughout the festival.

If I have a 4-day ticket, will I need to leave the grounds after The Cure's concert?

No. Holders of 4-day Pohoda 2026 tickets may remain on the festival grounds continuously. The grounds will be fully open from Wednesday at 12:00 until Sunday at 12:00, including all services, bars, and food stalls.

If I have a 3-day pass, when can I enter the grounds?

Holders of 3-day Pohoda 2026 tickets will be permitted to enter the festival grounds (including car parks) from Thursday, 9 July at 10:00.

What do I need to do to remain at Pohoda if I have two separate tickets — one for THE CURE Extra Day and one for the 3-day Pohoda?

If you have a standalone ticket for THE CURE Extra Day and a separate Pohoda ticket, you will need to go through re-wristbanding on Thursday morning, 9 July from 06:00 – pass through the festival gate again, present your Pohoda pass, and receive a new festival wristband.

Will I need to go through re-wristbanding if I have an UPGRADE on my 3-day ticket?

If you have purchased an UPGRADE to your 3-day ticket, you will receive a 4-day wristband upon your very first entry, and no re-wristbanding is required.

I only have a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day. Can I leave the grounds during the concert and come back?

Yes. THE CURE Extra Day visitors will receive a wristband with a QR code at the gate, allowing them to re-enter the grounds freely during the day, but only until 08:00 on Thursday, 9 July.

Which services and zones will be available in the grounds from Wednesday?

All services and facilities will be available: food stalls, beverage zones, sanitary facilities, luggage storage, and charging stations.

When will I need to leave the camping area if I am only attending THE CURE Extra Day?

By 08:00 on Thursday, 9 July at the latest.

CAMPING VILLAGES AND CAMPSITES

Will all campsites be open from Wednesday?

Yes. The festival grounds, including camping villages, will open for 4-day pass holders and THE CURE Extra Day ticket holders on Wednesday, 8 July at 12:00.

I am only attending THE CURE Extra Day. Can I camp or use other accommodation?

Yes. Tent camping will be available at both campsites (Biskupice and Opatovce).

If you only have a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day, you must vacate the camping area by Thursday, 9 July at 08:00.

Special accommodation options (Family Camp, Comfort Camp, Glamping, Cabins, etc.) are available exclusively for visitors attending the full festival.

I have a Family Camp / Comfort Camp place for Pohoda 2026 and a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day. Can I camp from Wednesday?

Yes, but only if you have an UPGRADE to your existing accommodation ticket.

Can UPGRADE places for accommodation sell out?

No. We guarantee the option to purchase a Wednesday upgrade for all already purchased Family Camp and Comfort Camp tickets.

Will you offer special accommodation exclusively for THE CURE Extra Day?

No, standalone accommodation only for Wednesday THE CURE Extra Day will not be offered. Please note that standard Pohoda campsites are free of charge and can be used by people who only have a ticket for THE CURE Extra Day.

We are a group of people sharing a caravan (or other special accommodation), but not everyone has an UPGRADE or ticket for THE CURE Extra Day. Can we all arrive together by caravan on Wednesday?

No. Only visitors with a valid ticket for THE CURE Extra Day, a 4-day ticket, or an UPGRADE on a 3-day ticket will be permitted to enter the grounds — including car parks, campsites, and camping villages — on Wednesday. All others will be able to access Caravan Parking (and other special accommodation) from Thursday after 10:00.
