Dozens of artists and art collectives applied to the 10th anniversary edition of the Pohoda Visual Art Contest this year. The expert jury ultimately selected Repropaganda, a project by Slovak artist Sam Heet Drevenák. The winning work, which will become part of the Pohoda 2026 festival grounds, responds to the symbols of Russian propaganda and, through a simple yet powerful gesture, transforms their meaning into an expression of solidarity with Ukraine and a rejection of imperialism. → read more
On Thursday, 9 July at 10:00, the festival day will begin with Pohoda Parade – a unique procession of mobile sound systems bringing together the collectives Nočná, Cruise, Bruxa and Blasfémia. Joining forces with Nová Cvernovka and Cyklokuchyňa, they will bring the sound of today’s underground scene into broad daylight. The parade will also pay tribute to the legendary DJ Tráva and will conclude with the ever-cheerful Funny Fellows in their iconic vintage car. → read more
THE CURE Extra Day is a special day celebrating the 30th edition of the Pohoda festival, taking place on Wednesday, 8 July 2026 at Trenčín Airport. The Cure will perform a full concert, preceded by Just Mustard, The Twilight Sad, and Denis Bango. The night will continue with an afterparty featuring DJ Hiroko Yamamura and other events. On Thursday 9 July, ESET Science Stage will host Operation Hope, a unique eight-hour discussion and fundraising marathon. Running from 11:00 to 19:00, the programme will feature more than twenty guests from Slovakia, Czechia and Ukraine discussing the war, European security, disinformation, support for Ukraine and the future of Europe. Throughout the event, visitors will also be able to contribute to a fundraiser for evacuation ambulances serving Ukraine. → read more
