Our agricultural management can finally visually harvest what they seeded. The sunflowers were over one meter high in early June. There will again be the inscription Pohoda before the sunflower meadow, and creepers are already growing on it. Vladimír Jurčák, the boss of agricultural production, has sent photo evidence of this positive news. (We are just reminding that the sunflowers and the inscription are just symbolic: those who do not wish to dedicate their time to growing plants can enjoy concerts and other performances :)) → read more

Slovenská sporiteľňa, our main partner, will take care of Pohodans under the banner of Space účet (Space account) in “the most popular area for the young”. They will offer a large relaxation zone under umbrellas and with refreshing sprays that ensure comfort even in hot weather. Space účet will seek “the most popular band at Pohoda” in an all-festival poll. Ecumenical services have been celebrated at Pohoda since 2010, and the consent of Anton Srholec was decisive to allow that. He invited the preacher Daniel Pastirčák and evangelical pastor Anka Polcková, and already the very first mass was opened by Rabbi Zev Stiefelʼs singing. The catholic priest Antonio later invited Ibrahim, his close Muslim friend from his house for the homeless Resoty, who would read the morning Quran surahs. This year, the service will be dedicated to Antonio, who not only preached tolerance but also lived it, and also to our friend Juraj Kušnierik. The scenario and form of the services is being prepared by Daniel Pastirčák. The main motive will be the question of how to live your life so that not even death can spoil it... With the great responses following last year, we are preparing again the Visegrad club, a space at Pohoda for progressive electronic artists from the V4 countries. This minimalist stage will have plenty to offer to fans of experimental electronic music and techno. The company Ryba Košice celebrates its seventieth birthday this year and on this occasion, you will be able to taste products available exclusively at Pohoda. Some witnesses may still remember smoked eel, halibut, red fish, and salmon so popular in the 50s. Fish is traditionally smoked using wooden chips technology, and Ryba Košice is the only company in Slovakia that still uses this technology. At Pohoda, they will also offer the traditional cod salad draught in freshly baked baguettes. → read more
