Ezra Collective is one of the world's most accomplished jazz bands. They are the current winners of the prestigious Mercury Prize and the first jazz band to receive this award. They won the prize for their great album Where I’m Meant To Be (2022). They also recently won the MOBO Awards 2024 in the Best Jazz Act category.
The five musicians founded Ezra Collective in 2012. They don't confine themselves to jazz alone, seamlessly incorporating hip-hop, grime, and afrobeat into their music. Their songs are full of passion, great melodies and even danceable beats. Their albums have featured vocal support from Sampa The Great, Jorja Smith, Emeli Sandé, and Nao. Their performance at Glastonbury has taken British jazz to new heights. Drummer Femi Koleoso plays drums for the Gorillaz at their live shows.
We are delighted to bring such a big name and high-caliber jazz to Trenčín Airport in July.
