The 20th edition of the Concert for those who Noticed will take place at PINK WHALE in Bratislava, on two stages. A diverse musical lineup will showcase exceptional names from both the Slovak and Czech scenes. The most prominent figure of Slovak jazz, Peter Lipa, will perform with his band, alongside the legendary Czech avant-garde rock group Už jsme doma. Authentic folklore full of energy, typical quick virtuoso ornaments and rich Roma harmonies will be brought by Sendreiovci. The Visitors can also look forward to the female drum’n’bass & pop duo Meowlau x Val, the energetic jazz-fusion project Samo Benko Orchestra, and a mix of rap, drum & bass, techno, electronic, and punk from Punkinson. The evening will close with a DJ set by Kristie Kardio.
“The Velvet Revolution brought about a fundamental positive change for the whole society — naturally, including the arts. Everyone who values freedom and wishes it for others must have noticed this day... We have a lot to celebrate, and we believe we will preserve the values of November, as they, among other things, represent our belonging to the democratic European countries. That’s also why we organize the Concert for those Who noticed, an artistic celebration of the Velvet Revolution,” said Michal Kaščák, director of the Pohoda Festival.
The first 100 tickets are on pre-sale at a symbolic price of €17. Holders of ISIC and ITIC cards can purchase tickets at the discounted price of €15.
