A 20-year-old UK artist Jade Bird is included in Rolling Stone and BBC’s (Sound of 2018) lists of artists you need to know. She released her first EP just six months ago and today almost one million people are listening her on Spotify monthly. She has convinced Pohoda 2018 visitors of her qualities and in addition to the concert on the Budiš stage, she added the song Lottery at the Pohoda acoustic sessions. → read more

Dávid Doroš put together a special compilation of Pohoda 2018 artist photos. He took pictures of them in Artist Village with the use of a special camera obscura technique and black-and-white film. Project name is derived from the exposure time: 60 seconds. His photos were awarded also within the Slovak Press Photo contest. Check the second serie of photos. Heartbeat was the first band asked to play Pohoda 2018. They convinced us of their musical qualities during the preparation of Pohoda 2017, and a month ago they confirmed this by playing a great performance at EUropa stage. Eurosonic is the largest European launch pad for new bands. It was here where the careers of names such as Aurora, Dua Lipa, Hozier, Mø, and Royal Blood started. The next edition will offer a huge chance especially for Slovak and Czech artists, as the biggest showcase festival of the Old Continent will focus on music from our countries also thanks to Pohoda. The opportunity will be given to eight bands from each country, and our artists will be able to gain one more slot thanks to RTVS (Slovak Radio and TV) (as a member of the European Broadcasting Union, they can recommend one name). Argentinian band La Fanfarria del Capitán has made whole NAY tanečný dom dance on Saturday evening. On top of it they showed a mix of Latin American rhythms, Ska and rock at the Pohoda acoustic sessions at Huawei Roller Disco. → read more
