ZEA: Interview and Meet&Greet SK
Alžbeta Ferencová (born 16 November 1991 in Prešov), known by her stage name Zea, is a versatile Slovak artist – singer, actress, dancer, choreographer, and model.
A turning point in her acting career came with the lead role of Iveta in the successful mini-series Iveta (2022–2024), directed by Jan Hřebejk. She followed this up with a role in the film Polícia Hvar (2024), where she played one of the main characters. On stage, she impressed audiences with her portrayal of Julietta in the play Mefisto, performed at the National Theatre in Prague. Her music career as Zea began in 2019 with the debut single “Is This Love?”. A year later, she released the EP/album Burning Light, blending English-language R&B and alt-pop with deeply personal lyrics. In her work, she places strong emphasis on authenticity and emotional depth, exploring themes such as self-confidence, relationships, and female empowerment.
