The legendary Street Dance Battle returns to Pohoda, and for the festival’s 30th edition it will celebrate two different worlds of dance — spontaneous freestyle energy and carefully crafted choreography. Expect a day full of movement, music, improvisation, and unforgettable dance moments.
One part of the programme will be driven by the raw energy of the battle itself, where four crews made up of some of the best local urban styles dancers will face off. Hip-hop, house dance, breakin’, vogue, poppin, and dancehall will collide in intense dance battles full of tension, creativity, and pure improvisation. Street Dance Battle has long been one of Pohoda’s most beloved dance formats, and this year will once again deliver healthy rivalry, humour, and explosive crowd energy.
The second part of the programme will focus on choreographed dance performances, showcasing dance as a powerful artistic language working with emotion, space, and visual atmosphere. The stage will feature performances by ANNA KOLEKTIV, MAHHU, NEYTIRI, and SIMON ŠINKA & FRIENDS. Each project brings its own perspective on contemporary dance and movement theatre — from intimate minimalist moments to emotionally charged collective choreographies.
The programme will be hosted by the legendary Otec Mirec, while DJ Maikl Knight will provide the soundtrack throughout the event.
Street Dance Battle at Pohoda 2026 will once again prove that dance is a natural part of festival freedom, community, and the joy of movement.

The 2026 Pohoda Festival is officially sold out, only one-day tickets for Wednesday, July 8—The Cure Extra Day—are still available.
If you already have a 3-day ticket for Pohoda 2026, you can still upgrade it with access to Wednesday and The Cure through a discounted upgrade ticket. Upgrades for 3-day parking and glamping products are also still available.
